Transportation

The following are the ways we can assist with transportation needs; your case manager can help you assess which will work best for your needs.

  • Matthew 25 can provide bus tokens and/or vouchers for Henderson, Owensboro, Bowling Green, and Evansville. Requests for bus tokens/vouchers must be made seven days in advance. Matthew 25 is not responsible for any lost or stolen tokens/vouchers.
  • Matthew 25 can also supply gas cards for vehicles used for transport to your appointments. These must be requested seven days in advance and Matthew 25 is not responsible for any lost or stolen gas cards.
  • Matthew 25 can assist in finding information about/utilizing Medicaid Transport systems in your area. These must be booked at least 72 hours (three days) in advance.
  • Matthew 25 can help you book a taxi or Uber Health services. These must be requested seven days in advance. Currently, this service is limited to Evansville and Bowling Green service areas.

We acknowledge that these needs differ from one case to the next; therefore, we provide transportation by an employee or shuttle service for any medical appointments. We recommend requests be made when you schedule your appointment, since our resources are limited, all requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. To best serve all of our patients equally; requests must be made seven days in advance, and we ask that you have attempted all other forms of transportation.
