Cervical cancer was once one of the most common causes of cancer death in America, but the death rate has dropped significantly due to Pap smear screenings. 14,000 new cases of invasive cervical cancer will be diagnosed in 2022. Women who are HIV+ are at increased risk, so screenings are more important for our clients.
Please join us by participating in our Panties for Paps Campaign. You simply donate a NEW pair of panties (we are currently in most need of small and medium sizes) and drop them off or mail to our Henderson location. Our patients who have a cervical screening completed will be able to select a new pair of panties. Monetary donations also accepted.
