Matthew 25 includes a Adherence Nurse on staff whose main role is to meet with new patients once they are referred here for medical care. This includes discussing medical history, housing situations, transportation availability, and any barriers that prevent them from properly accessing care.
Matthew 25 also includes Medical Case Management Services at each of our locations. With this service, patients are assigned to a specific case manager who then works with them to coordinate their treatment and healthcare services to improve their well being and quality of life. Matthew 25 offers its patients free mental health services. HIV is a life-altering disease, and a diagnosis can flip someone’s world upside down in an instant. Our Mental Health Service Providers seek to give patients an outlet to discuss and work through difficult life circumstances, whether they are related to an HIV diagnosis or not. They can help our patients to identify areas of stress in life and how to find the healthiest and most effective resolutions.
Matthew 25 provides a free and peer-cooperative support group in Henderson, KY and Evansville, IN. The meetings are facilitated by our mental health counselors as well as guest-speakers that are brought in on occasion.
All are welcome to participate and food and beverages are also offered. If you live in Henderson, Owensboro, or Evansville and lack transportation, we can provide transportation to the support group locations!
