Listen,
2020 and 2021 have not been easy on anyone, with COVID and the economic downturn affecting each and every person in some way, shape, or form. You would be hard-pressed to find a single person not impacted in some way by the past year and a half.
And despite being disadvantaged in the face of unprecedented challenges, nonprofits across Kentucky have made it their mission to not let their constituents down; too many fellow Thoroughbreds, from Appalachia in the east to the Jackson Purchase in the west rely on their support. Now, the nonprofits are asking you for just a little help.
On May 11th, 2021 rally with Kentucky Nonprofit Network and nonprofits all across the Bluegrass to celebrate the 9th annual, statewide day of action to help us raise funds for our missions! Please donate today and in the succeeding days so that we can guarantee continued services to our fellow Kentuckians in-need. And of course, after you donate, please share our social media posts and use the hashtag “KYGives2021”
Why should you donate to Matthew 25 AIDS Services, Inc?
Matthew 25 AIDS Services, INC. was created in 1996 by a group of concerned residents from the Henderson/Evansville area, attending Zion UCC, who had been personally affected by HIV/AIDS. They wanted to see an organized effort in the Tri-State to fight the disease, care for those infected and affected, and to provide education and prevention services for residents of the community. Matthew 25, however, offers service regardless of geographic location.
Since that time, Matthew 25 AIDS Services, Inc. has grown to cover over 25 counties in Kentucky, with nearly 600 patients in-care. From those humble beginnings, Matthew 25 has gone on to be able to provide critically necessary services including HIV-Specialist and Primary care providers, Medical Case Management, Mental Health Counseling, Food Pantry Services, Transportation Assistance, and much more!
All donations made to Matthew 25 AIDS Services, Inc. are immediately placed into a fund that directly benefits our patients and helps us provide the aforementioned services at no cost to them. With your help, we can continue to provide these services for years to come and continue our mission to support, educate and treat those infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS.
No dollar or cent is too little. We know times are hard for everyone. But we can still help those in most need. If you can, please donate even just a dollar to our cause; every little bit counts!
