This year we took on the challenge of expanding the success of our Yuletide Food Campaign from previous years!

In case you’re not familiar, our Yuletide is an annual initiative during the holiday season aiming to create, pack, and deliver over 150 or so bags of food that culminate into a Christmas meal for a patient of ours and their family. Each of these bags costs about $40.00, so the overall cost gets very high very quickly!

This year, we set our sights even higher than our average 150 families, hoping to instead feed 155-160! This may not seem like much considering it is only 5-10 more bags, but that’s $200-$400 extra we need to raise. As a non-profit organization, we rely heavily upon the good will and generosity of our community in helping us to raise funds through donations, and any amount always helps.

We were blown away by the response! Not only did we meet our goal, but we exceeded it! We were able to raise enough money to feed 164 families!

Our community is so amazing and we cannot begin to thank them enough for the support provided and how much better they made so many families-in-need’s holiday!

We look forward to another Yuletide next year! Who knows, maybe we’ll try to beat our record again!
