The Ribbon Has Been Cut
Our mobile unit was officially ribbon-cut on June 11th. We are
immensely proud to now be even better equipped to serve our
communities directly. The mobile unit will allow us to bring vital
care and support to individuals in need, right where they are.
A heartfelt thank you to the following for attending:
JT Payne, Kentucky State Representative
Brad Staton, Mayor of Henderson
Josh Dixon, Henderson Fire Chief.
Thank you also to our dedicated Board members and all
community partners and supporters who attended. And
lastly a special thanks to the Henderson KY Chamber of
Commerce hosting the ribbon cutting alongside us!
This is a huge step forward for the communities we serve,
and we couldn’t have done it without you. If you would be interested
in having our unit set up at your business, reach out to Angie Poe aapoe@matthew25clinic.org for details.
Matthew 25 Expands Indiana Services Through Part B Grant Support
Thanks to the generous support of an expanded grant through the Ryan White Care Coordination Program from the Indiana Department of Public Health, Matthew 25 is proud to announce a major expansion of services in Indiana—allowing us to better meet the growing needs of individuals living with HIV across the region.
This vital funding has enabled us to add four Case Management Specialists, one Patient Navigator, and one Case Management Assistant to our Indiana team. With this increase in staff capacity, Matthew 25 can now provide comprehensive case management services not only to patients receiving medical care at our clinic, but also to individuals accessing HIV supportive services. This expansion significantly increases our reach and impact.
Indiana Food Pantry Launched
In addition to staffing enhancements, we have launched a brand-new food pantry at our Indiana location, modeled after our successful pantry program in Kentucky. The pantry offers nutritious food options through both in-person access and mobile ordering—ensuring that clients experiencing food insecurity can receive support wherever they are.
This gives our patients access to a one-stop shop where they can get all their services under one roof,” said Jenn Jerger, Indiana Site Director. “By expanding supportive services and emergency financial assistance, we’re now able to help with critical needs like housing and utilities, too. That’s a game-changer for our clients.
These exciting developments reflect our continued commitment to breaking down barriers, providing wraparound support, and helping every client live with dignity, stability, and health.
Zero HIV Stigma Day – July 21st
We believe that stigma has no place in healthcare. On July 21, we join the global community in recognizing Zero Stigma Day—a powerful reminder that stigma around HIV is still one of the biggest barriers to testing, treatment, and overall health equity.
The Impact of Stigma
Stigma can isolate individuals, discourage them from seeking care, and fuel misinformation. That’s why our work at Matthew 25 goes beyond medical services—we are committed to creating safe, affirming spaces where clients are met with compassion, not judgment.
Our Commitment
Through education, advocacy, and community outreach, we aim to debunk harmful myths, humanize the HIV experience, and amplify the voices of those affected. Every conversation we have, every service we provide, and every life we touch moves us closer to a world where stigma no longer stands in the way of health and dignity.
Join us this Zero Stigma Day in standing up for acceptance, understanding, and respect—for all.
196 Tests on National HIV Testing Day 2025
Matthew 25 proudly partnered with Greater Than HIV and Walgreens for National HIV Testing Day, providing free testing to 196 individuals across four Walgreens locations.
A special thank you to everyone who got tested, helped spread the word, and continues to support our mission.
This year also marked the official launch of our mobile testing unit, which made its debut at our Owensboro testing site—expanding access and breaking down barriers to care in our community.

2025 Harm Reduction Summit
We were excited for the opportunity to attend the 2025 Kentucky Harm Reduction Summit held in Lexington this month.
The summit was an excellent opportunity for our team to improve our harm reduction and disease prevention strategies by learning more about evidence-based best practices.
Anna Ambs, our COO, and Angie Poe, our KY Prevention and Education Coordinator, took in valuable insights which will allow us to better serve both our Kentucky and Indiana communities.
American Public Health Academy’s Policy Action Institute
Our CEO, Courtney Woolfork attended the American Public Health Academy’s Policy Action Institute in DC this month. Courtney said “It’s been amazing! I’ve made some great connections in the public health arena in both states and learned a lot. This was the last session about the future of public health policy – these ladies spoke about AI in public health, what’s going on with the CDC and one spoke about blood disorders and HIV and how the potential implications of our current political environment could impact the lives of so many people! It was a blessing to be in this audience this week!”

Early detection saves lives. Our compassionate team provides access to the latest medications and ongoing support to help clients heal and thrive. Our team is committed to educating the community, supporting those at risk, and helping eliminate Hepatitis C—one person, one test, one treatment at a time
This July 28, join us in raising awareness, fighting stigma, and making Hep C elimination possible— one test, one person, one cure at a time.
